This journey began with Si Nguyen, a talented painter, illustrator, and graphic designer who also happens to be a self-proclaimed software engineering nerd. In 2011, Si arrived in Sydney, Australia, with his family in pursuit of the Australian dream.

Fast forward to a sunny day during the COVID-19 lockdown, Si was working on his 321st painting when his wife, Van, remarked that there was no more space for his growing collection. She admitted she was a little envious—Si was having so much fun painting while she struggled with it.

Wanting to help, Si simplified the process for Van: he printed a canvas, mixed the paints, and handed her the brushes, ready to go. The method worked wonders for Van, and they realised that if it could help her, it could help others too.

And so, Colordemy was born.
